English As a Second Language
Specific Training Program For Those With English As A Second Language
ExecuProv teaches many different classes to assist individuals with presentation and communication skills. To expand on the needs of our clients, it has developed a specific training program to help business professionals whose secondary language is English. While the session covers a variety of critical presentation and communication techniques unique to those whose primary language is not English, it offers shortcuts to mastering English verbal skills to get messages across–whether they are during a speech/presentation or during a meeting. This training program is always custom-tailored–depending on the enrolls and their needs. The class is always highly interactive and lively, giving each attendee the opportunity to become actively involved via a series of hands-on exercises and drills throughout the seven-hour one-day workshop.
The following are the specialized topics that the “English as a Second Language” workshop model covers:

Each student is asked to fill out a questionnaire prior to the class date to familiarize the ExecuProv instructor with his/her most pressing needs and concerns. Answers to the detailed and confidential questionnaire allow the instructor to prepare specific drills and exercises for those taking the class.
The first order of business in each “English as a Second Language” class is to make each student feel comfortable and to encourage him/her to participate fully. The class is designed so that no one sits idle; either a student is “on stage” or helping critique his/her classmates. Students are encouraged to work at his/her own pace. The ideal class size ranges from 6 to 12, however, larger and smaller groups are also welcome; the day’s class agenda is arranged accordingly. ExecuProv also offers private coaching as well.
